Woman pleads guilty to voluntary manslaughter in Northumberland County

SUNBURY, Pa. — A woman from Northumberland County has pleaded guilty to her part in the death of a man in 2020.

Dorothy Huffman pleaded guilty on Wednesday to voluntary manslaughter.

Police say Dorothy Huffman and two others partnered up to kill Richard Jameson in 2020 and buried him in the backyard near Watsontown.

Dorothy Huffman, Thomas Huffman, and their nephew, who was 17 at the time of the crime, were all charged with criminal homicide about two years later when a witness came forward to the police.

Thomas Huffman pleaded guilty in March.
