JERSEY SHORE, Pa. — Mike Miller of Jersey Shore and his two bulls will be in the national spotlight for the next two weeks. His bulls, named Gold Standard and Wild Card, are competing in the Professional Bull Riding World Finals in Texas.

"We got here this morning, unloaded the bulls. First round is tomorrow night, and we have a couple of bulls out in the first round," Miller said.

Miller owns Mike Miller's Bucking Bulls. His bulls compete at events across the country. He was excited when he got the call to go to nationals.

"It is a privilege to come. There are a lot of people in this business, and not everybody gets to show up here, and it is definitely a privilege to show up and be here at the world finals."

His two bulls are considered to be some of the best in North America.

"The livestock director picks the top 100 bulls in the United States and Canada to come here to the world finals. I was lucky enough to have two bulls."

Even though 100 bulls will be bucking at the competition, only one will go home with the grand prize of $100,000.

"You're looking for a guy to ride your bull a complete eight seconds. The more they get the state of the bull, the more they perform, and they judge him off his performance," Miller explained.

The competition spans from May 12 to May 21. Millers' bulls will compete in round one Friday night on national television.
